Super glad to find TrainAway gyms here. Much easier than trying to find a gym selling day passes myself.

It's always been a pain trying training in overseas gyms, so I never bothered. But this was easy,

Northgate

Located in the north of Seattle, the Northgate neighborhood got its name after the Northgate Mall, the oldest modern shopping mall in the US. The mall today houses over 125 stores and is a center of shopping in Seattle.  Although shopping is one of the main reasons why residents of the city visit the area, it is not everything it has to offer. Once a swampland populated by Native Americans and their simplistic settlements, now a residential district with its own community college. Another structure worth taking a look at is the Idriss Mosque, interesting for both its architecture and bold history. However, what really makes Northgate a worthwhile destination is its stunning nature.

Haller Lake is a Northgate district surrounding a small lake of the same name, known for its peaceful atmosphere and the lovely Northachers Park.  Another famous division of Northgate is Maple Leaf, a beautiful area with parks, kitchy and unique shops as well as their lovely community. Finally, the Northern area of Seattle is perfect to meet the locals and have a more authentic experience than you would in some of Seattle’s busiest neighborhoods. That includes visiting one of their pubs and fast-food joints, that’ll make you feel like you’re one of the locals.

How to find a gym with a day pass in Northgate?

Although Northgate is not as busy and packed with activities as Downtown Seattle, it still offers good options for fitness lovers. One of the best gyms in the area is the Seattle Athletic Club – Northgate, a family-friendly spot packed with facilities, that can be easily accessed through the TrainAway app. If you’re in the neighborhood just for a short time, booking a day pass with TrainAway is the quickest, safest and most affordable way to train with the locals in this longstanding club.
