Commonwealth Sports Club is a locals’ favorite facility in the western part of Boston, that offers a great range of equipment and group classes for every interests and experience level. The friendly staff will ensure you feel at home while the TrainAway guest passes make access effortless.
The gym covers 25,000 square foot and offers something for everyone. Bodybuilders will enjoy the strength area with heavy dumbbells, benches and cutting-edge resistance machines, while those into functional training can find a boxing bag, kettlebells and suspension trainers. There is also a large variety of cardio machines, including treadmills, bikes and elliptical trainers.
The gym has two group training studios and you can book at the reception a wide variety of group classes, including; Zumba, Pilates, spinning and strength training workouts. You can also book a private session to try out their popular Pure Training Program.
The gym has large locker rooms with showers, and an indoor saltwater pool.
You can now enjoy all facilities in the gym with no commitment by booking a day pass though TrainAway. Once you purchased your pass, activate it and show to the reception staff when you arrive to the gym.
You can find this gym on Commonwealth Avenue, in the southeastern part of the Allston neighborhood. Charles River is an 8 minute walk away and you can reach the city center with a 10 minute drive. There is also a bus station in front of the gym for those preferring public transport.
